
Jodi Giglio was born in Syosset, New York in 1968.
She grew up in Wantagh,
New York and California,
but moved back to New
York at 19 to make her
own way in the world.
She was married in Long
Beach and lost her first
husband to cancer when
she was 27. She
remarried nine years ago
to her husband Michael
Giglio. She has three
step children Michael
24, Zachary 22 and
Lauren 21. Together she
and Michael have three
children William 6 and
twins Jessica and Jacob
5. Family is important
to Jodi. She has
assisted coaching her
son’s basketball and
baseball teams.
Jodi values hard work,
determination and
perseverance. Working
during the day, she
attended Stony Brook
University part time in
the evenings pursuing a
degree in Business
Management.
Jodi has a rich
background in various
businesses, including
relocating corporate
executives for United
Van Lines and as an
on-site construction
superintendent for a
townhouse project on
Long Island. She built
her own business -
Bennett Enterprises. Her
company assists land
owners in the processing
of both residential and
commercial applications.
She has twenty years
experience in land use.
In addition, she has
built lasting and
trusting professional
relationships with
officials on the local,
county and state level.
Community is also
important to Jodi. She
is the co-founder of the
Riverhead Business
Alliance, a member of
Riverhead Rotary, East
End Executives
Roundtable and the Long
Term Advisory Board for
the Timothy Hill
Children’s Ranch. Jodi
exemplifies the spirit
and passion necessary to
be a force for good
government in Riverhead.
She is honored to be a
part of the Riverhead
Community and is ready
to serve the taxpayers
as councilwoman. |
