2008 Recycle Pick-Up Schedule

SOLID WASTE COLLECTION DISTRICT PICKUP INFORMATION
 

Purpose: Maintain high level of service by registered carters. Provide for hazardous waste dumping next (S.T.O.P.) Stop Throwing Out Pollutants.   Facilitate communications between residents and carters.

Recycling containers are provided at no charge to new residents of the Town of Riverhead. Please stop by the Tax Receiver's office to receive a blue bin.

Replacement bins are available as well, for a charge of $13.00.

You may also purchase your own garbage bin for recyclables. Clearly mark the bin "Recyclables" with a permanent marker and be sure the cover on the can is secured tightly.
